Peaks & Plains, Inc. has a mission to be the highest quality, lowest cost provider of Medical Supplies to the Long Term Care Industry. The company operates in all states in the Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions and is headquartered in Spokane Valley, Washington. Sales Representatives are located in the Seattle/Tacoma area; Spokane Valley, Washington; Eastern Idaho and Boise, Idaho; and service the state of Oregon.
In the interest in being your most highly qualified provider, in April of 2006 we met the stringent requirements of certification by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. and in 2005 earned the Board of Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification. We are also members of the Better Business Bureau.
Our core business is to provide Medical, Incontinent, Nutritional, Patient Care and Housekeeping equipment and supplies and service to Adult Family Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. We also offer Personal Care Products, Diabetic Supplies, Compression Hosiery, Ostomy, Urology and Wound Care Products. Other product lines include Splints for Contracture Management and Diabetic Shoes, which are also offered to Nursing Homes and Skilled Nursing Facilities.
We are excited to now offer the same medical supplies and equipment on-line. Peaks & Plains enables caregiver's to better utilize their limited time by providing equipment and supplies on the internet or by traditional means. The Mission of Peaks & Plains, Inc. is to be your partner in providing top notch care.
Changes in publicly funded health care have reduced the margin of profit for most providers of long term care. Never has there been greater pressure on facilities to control the cost of quality care to America's elderly, and on caregivers to make better use of their time.
Accompanying these changes is the growing tendency by many providers of medical equipment and supplies to cut their own costs by providing products from a catalog with little service before or after the sale. The service with the sale that, in the past, has helped the provider and nursing professional make the most of their limited time, and which helped owners contain costs, has slowly disappeared.
At Peaks and Plains, service does not end with the sale. We do a number of little things to help you operate more effectively in today's environment:
- Monthly contact on recurring orders so you get only the products you need and request.
- Consultation by our capable staff to help you determine the right product for your resident.
- Billing on behalf of patients with Medicare or Medicaid insurance for covered items.
- Private Pay direct billing also available.
