Company History
Bob McNellis, the company founder and CEO incorporated Bob McNellis, Inc. in Helena, Montana in 1993. This one man operation specialized in providing third party billing of splints and orthotics to long term care patients in Southwest Montana, Eastern Idaho and Northern Utah. The company was moved to Spokane in April, 2000 in order to operate in a larger volume market. About a year later Peaks and Plains, Inc. was incorporated for the purpose of purchasing splints and other medical products and supplies in volume for resale to our own company and other dealers and long term care providers. We have continued to grow and added Oregon in August of 2006 to our service area.
The combined growth of the two companies over the next two years was nothing less than phenomenal. Today, Peaks & Plains, Inc. is an important provider of medical supplies to Adult Family Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes in Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Utah.
In 2004 we opened our first retail store in Spokane Valley, Washington. The following year we opened our second retail store on the north side of Spokane, then moved to the south side in 2009.
